We beautify, inform and advocate to improve our quality of life.
— Point Loma Association, Since 1961

Jamie Saylor

I graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and served the community for 25 years as a Parole Agent with the California Department of Corrections.

In 2004, my husband and I moved to Point Loma and we knew we would never leave.   My son was only four when we moved to San Diego, so he attended the Point Loma circuit of schools and I became heavily involved in the PTA.

I retired in 2019, but knew I wanted to continue to serve my community.  I am a board member with the Cabrillo Civic Club #16 of the United Portuguese S.E.S. and a member of the Point Loma Association.  I volunteered on the fundraising committee for PLA's 2022 annual dinner/fundraiser and am co-chair for this year's event.  I have also assisted at several of their social mixers.

My favorite things to do are play tennis, walk my dog and travel the world.
