Linda Hervey

Quietly, behind the scenes, Linda Hervey supported the Point Loma Association for years before becoming a Director in 2021.

With a master’s degree in Communication Studies,

Linda’s career ranged from 9-1-1 dispatcher, to radio announcer, from parks supervisor, to the computer industry, and from National Accounts Manager at a top 100 company to professor at San Jose State University.

Since arriving in San Diego in 1995, Linda has volunteered at Rady Children’s Hospital, Boy Scouts, Warren-Walker School and Point Loma Presbyterian Church. Her creativity and enthusiasm helped make our 2019 PLA Annual Dinner a huge success.

In her leisure, Linda enjoys gardening, with a special fondness for tall bearded iris and lilies. PLA values Linda Hervey and her professional and volunteer expertise in support of our community.
