Whitney Vazza
Whitney Vazza is a REALTOR® with Compass and has been an active business member of the Point Loma Association since March 2025. Originally from upstate New York, Whitney is a graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island with a degree in Global Studies, and holds a Master’s Degree from New York University.
Her professional journey began in nonprofit event planning and fundraising, with roles at organizations such as Human Rights Watch and NEXT for Autism in New York City. She later transitioned into Marketing and Project Management, earning her Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification and spending over a decade leading complex projects across diverse industries, primarily focused on nonprofits and non-governmental organizations.
Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others and strengthening her community—first sparked during her college years—Whitney found a natural fit in real estate. Her work is rooted in service, connection, and a deep appreciation for the communities she serves.
Whitney and her husband live in a single-family home near Point Loma High School, where they are raising their three young children, ages 5, 3, and 1. Their oldest daughter just began kindergarten at Loma Portal Elementary, while their younger children attend daycare in Liberty Station. The family also owns an investment property in Point Loma and local plumbing and drain businesses here in San Diego. For Whitney and her family, Point Loma is more than just where they live—it's home.
Since joining the PLA in March, Whitney has been an active volunteer on the Membership Committee, collaborating with Alexandra and the team to engage local businesses and promote the PLA’s mission. She is passionate about contributing to the continued work of the PLA, and teaching her children the value of giving back to their community.
